About Louie
Lusito known to many as Louie, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Scripps Prebys Cardiovascular Institute in San Diego. He was born on February 7, 1948 in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines. he graduated from the Universty of Santo Tomas in 1970 with a degree in Fine Arts, Majoring in Advertising. He worked as a graphic artist at Ch 4 Maharlika Broadcasting System then as an artist illustrator for Ch. 9 Philippine Broadcasting Service. He migrated to the USA and worked as an illustrator for Tren Western Corporation subcontracted with Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL), he later worked for Disneyland Resorts and retired in 2014. Major accomplishments and painting exhibitions include "Anim sa Kuwatro" at San Juan Rizal, Phil; Laya Exhibits at Ali Mall Gallery in Cubao, Quezon City, Phil; designing the logo of the All Filipino "Hall of Fame" and many more logos and designms for St. Mary Magdalene Parish, athletic teams, schools, and others. He enjoyed taking pictures, painting, building anything, playing guitar and piano, riding his bike, playing basketball and eating. He also enjoyed traveling to many parts of the world with his family.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Veronidia and children Lousandro, Justine-Veronique, Lexie-John and grandchildren Lianne and Lucas.
Papa will be missed by many but his infectious smile and generous personality will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
We thank God for the blessed life we shared with him.
